An Ancient Comfort

Happy: Rooibos Chai is a wonderful way to unwind after a long day of biting one's tongue. That tongue bite is, of course, metaphoric since a literal tongue biting would make enjoying a hot beverage difficult. It's such and international treat as well. It's a South African tea stored in a traditional Japanese tin (at left) served in a Yoda mug (okay, intergalactic treat) and sweetened with Guyanan Demerera sugar. With no caffeine it's a jitter-free treat as well.

Sad: It's time to order more.
