Today is the Feast of Saint Francis of Assisi. We get to see Mthr. M-G in clerical action. Nice stole, babe!She and Fr. Don led a service for the blessing of the animals in the parish garden. They also collected gifts for the local branch of the Humane Society. We donated cleaning supplies thinking most others would give food and treats. The gifts will be delivered tomorrow when Fr. Don and Mthr. M-G bless the animals at the shelter.
What a wonderful way to honor our animal friends! Phoeberoni had fun getting out of the house and seeing all the pets. The mosquitoes had fun nibbling on Phoebe. I had fun feeling guilty about parking her stroller next to the fountain.
UPDATE: Mthr. M-G informs me that she is not wearing a stole in the above photo, but a tippet. Wow, now I know what it's like talking to me about Transformers.
